Netravathi Peak Trek

The Netravati Peak trek is a scenic and moderately challenging trail nestled in the Charmadi Ghat region of the Western Ghats, Karnataka. The trek offers a blend of dense forests, mist-covered meadows, and panoramic views of surrounding peaks like Kudremukha and Ettina Bhuja. The trail winds through rich biodiversity and is often shrouded in fog, adding to its mystique. 


  • Altitude - 1,520 m (4,987 ft) 

  • Distance - 14 to 16 km (ascent and descent) 

  • Duration - 6 to 7 hours

  • Difficulty - Moderate to Challenging.

ITINERARY


DAY 1 - TREK DAY 


Early arrival at the homestay. Relax for a while. Freshen up and Have breakfast. Pack your lunch and water bottles. Jeep ride to the trek start point. Guided trek to Netravathi peak with rest stops. Reach the summit. Lunch at the summit with stunning views. Descend and return to homestay by evening.


NIGHT 1 


After a day of trek, indulge in a memorable evening by the bonfire. Following a delicious dinner, gather around the flickering flames to share stories, enjoy a musical night, or simply marvel at the beautiful night sky. It’s a magical way to unwind and create lasting memories with your fellow travelers.


DAY 2 - EXPLORATION 


Early breakfast and check out. Visit Soormane falls for a refreshing dip. Walk across the scenic Hanging bridge. Lunch stop ( self-sponsored) Step into Tejasvi Loka. Visit UNESCO world heritage site - Chennakeshava temple at Beluru. Begin return journey to Bengaluru. Enroute Dinner. Reach Bengaluru around 10:00 pm. Trip concludes with memories and new bonds.
