Kuduremukha Trek

The Kudremukha Trek, located in the Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka, is a scenic 18 km (round trip) trail through the lush landscapes of Kudremukha National Park. The trek is named after the mountain's distinctive horse-face shape. Trekkers pass through rolling meadows, dense shola forests, and sparkling streams, with a chance to spot wildlife like deer and rare birds. The trek rewards hikers with stunning panoramic views of the Western Ghats.

  • Altitude - 1,894 m (6,214 ft) 

  • Distance - 20 to 22 km (ascent and descent) 

  • Duration - 8 to 9 hours. 

  • Difficulty - Moderate

ITINERARY


DAY 1 - TREK DAY 


Early arrival at the homestay. Relax for a while. Freshen up and Have breakfast. Pack your lunch and water bottles. Jeep ride to the trek start point. Guided trek to Kudremukha peak with rest stops. Reach the summit. Lunch at the summit with stunning views. Descend and return to homestay by evening.


NIGHT 1 


After a day of trek, indulge in a memorable evening by the bonfire. Following a delicious dinner, gather around the flickering flames to share stories, enjoy a musical night, or simply marvel at the beautiful night sky. It’s a magical way to unwind and create lasting memories with your fellow travelers.


DAY 2 - EXPLORATION 


Early breakfast and check out. Visit Soormane falls for a refreshing dip. Walk across the scenic Hanging bridge. Lunch stop ( self-sponsored) Step into Tejasvi Loka. Visit UNESCO world heritage site - Chennakeshava temple at Beluru. Begin return journey to Bengaluru. Enroute Dinner. Reach Bengaluru around 10:00 pm. Trip concludes with memories and new bonds.
